Global Excitement for Destination ImagiNation

Delano students traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee for the Destination ImagiNation (DI)  Global Finals held at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville campus.  Four days were packed with competition and fun for teams from all over the world. 

Delano’s 11^th grade team, If Walls Could Talk, gave an outstanding performance.  Team members Shayla Dallmann, Charlie Gallagher, Erin Nolan, Izzy Crowley, and Jesse Church made Delano proud with a ninth place finish out of 63 teams. 

Alex Harris, a Delano 8^th grader, performing with an Orono DI Improv team also earned ninth place out of 81 teams. 

6^th grade girls, the BIG boyz, competed against 69 teams and captured 6^th place in the world.  Team members include Amelia Sutherland, Amanda Gielau, Haley Winterhalter, Anna Elsen, Addie Taylor, Miki Harris, and Ellen Soderberg.
