to Represent Minnesota! State
Tournament Excitement for Destination ImagiNation Participants
Chaska High
School was the place to be on Saturday, April 19 for 150 Destination ImagiNation
(DI) teams from around the state.
After winning
their respective regional tournaments, these teams vied for another top placing
earning them the invitation to DI Global Finals in Knoxville, TN May 21-24 at
the University of Tennessee – Knoxville - Where they will compete against teams
from all 50 states and more than 15 countries.

Three teams go on to compete at the State Tournament on April 19;

1st Place in division -6th Grade Team

- 2nd Place in division - 4th Grade Team
The Cowabunga Kids
- Won the "Spirit of DI Award" - 5th Grade Team.
This award is given out to one team, per division. Koodos!

Tournament Day - February 23, 2008! West Metro Regional Tournament to be held at
the Maple Grove
Senior High School.
This is an ALL day, really fun event! Bring some extras spending cash for the
food court and DI memorabilia!
— END OF THE SEASON PARTY!! - March 6 @ 7 - 8pm Join us for the end of
the season party where you'll receive your participation awards, have some yummy
treats and a chance to win some cool raffle prizes.
Each DI'er that comes to
the party will receive 10 tickets to drop into individual prize bags for a
chance to win a cool prize. Prizes are donated by parents. Please contact
Rebecca Harris if you can donate a prize for the raffle.
